“It’s Regina Daniels who’s violent here,” Ned Nwoko reacts to allegations of domestic violence
Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko on Sunday, October 19, 2025, rejected the accusations of domestic violence brought against him by his wife Regina Daniels. In a long statement posted on Instagram, he claims the actress is addicted to hard drugs and refuses any detox treatment, a situation that, he says, is at the root of tensions in their household.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Ned Nwoko stated that Regina has been battling drugs and alcohol for several years. According to him, she refused to follow a detox program in Nigeria or in Jordan, despite several offers. He says he now fears for his life and believes the young woman, aged 25, has become violent and unstable under the influence of narcotics.
The senator says he has other wives, none of whom have ever accused him of violence. “It’s Regina who is violent here”, he insisted, specifying that the young actress allegedly slapped and struck three members of the household staff and destroyed property, including cars and windows, in the past 48 hours.

In his message, Ned Nwoko described the scene of the incident as an “unprovoked carnage” that occurred in his absence. He accused Regina’s brother, Sammy, and a woman named Ann of being the main drug suppliers to the star. “While I was taking our son Moon to the hospital, a scene of chaos unfolded at home orchestrated by Sammy”, he wrote.
According to him, the video that went viral actually showed a moment when Regina, allegedly under the influence of drugs, refused to care for their sick child and attacked their resident nurse. “A sober Regina would have taken Moon to the hospital,” he insisted, adding that he remains deeply worried about her mental and physical health.
The senator also shared videos showing the material damage in his residence, notably scratched cars, broken windows and damaged furniture.
