Galatasaray: Alvaro Morata sees Victor Osimhen in the world top 3

Álvaro Morata has fond memories of his collaboration with Victor Osimhen. The two forwards shared the same locker room at Galatasaray, and the Spanish international was quickly impressed by his partner’s qualities. In an interview with Sporty TV, Morata placed Osimhen at the top of the global hierarchy for his position. “ Victor is one of the three best forwards in the world in my eyes. I really enjoyed playing with him ,” said the Leganés striker.

The Spaniard also recalled their complementarity on the field. “Sometimes, I remember playing behind Victor. It was like: ‘Hit the ball into space, I’m going to score.’ I think he is one of the best in the world,” he added. Arriving at Galatasaray from Naples, Osimhen quickly established himself as one of the main offensive weapons of the Turkish club. Currently sidelined due to a groin injury, the Nigerian remains highly regarded by his former teammates, like Morata.
