Financial prizes awarded to the best teams of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations have been officially announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Crowned Africa champions after their victory over host nation Morocco in the final (1-0), Senegal earns a record prize. The Teranga Lions made the difference in extra time thanks to a decisive strike by Pape Gueye, after a long and closely contested match that ended in a goalless draw at the end of regulation time.

Following the final, CAF president Patrice Motsepe confirmed a historic prize of 10 million dollars for the winner, compared with 7 million for the previous edition in 2023. The unfortunate finalists, Morocco, depart with 4 million dollars. Nigeria, third in the competition, pockets 2.5 million dollars, while Egypt, fourth, receives 1.3 million dollars. The teams eliminated in the quarter-finals each receive 800,000 dollars. Those finishing third in their group took home 700,000 dollars, while the fourth-placed teams depart with 500,000 dollars.
