CAF Awards 2025: Angélique Kidjo and Oualass will host the ceremony
CAF has chosen Angélique Kidjo and Oualass to embody the continent’s artistic soul at the CAF Awards 2025, a ceremony that will celebrate the best of African football on November 19 in Rabat.

The Confederation of African Football has revealed the identities of the hosts who will emcee the CAF Awards 2025, scheduled for November 19 at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University in Rabat. From 7 p.m., the grand celebration of African football will take on a strong cultural flavour thanks to an unprecedented duo.
To highlight the year’s finest performances, CAF called on two iconic figures from Africa’s artistic scene: Angélique Kidjo and Oualass.
The Beninese singer, a genuine global legend with numerous awards, will bring her international aura and long-standing commitment to social and cultural causes. A respected icon, UNICEF ambassador and a major voice on the continent, Kidjo embodies the spirit of excellence these awards aim to celebrate.
Alongside her, Moroccan comedian Oualass, who in just a few years has become one of the artists most loved by the public, will add his touch of humour and improvisation. His ability to unite people and create a warm atmosphere makes him a natural choice to host an evening that blends emotion, entertainment and prestige.
By bringing together these two personalities from complementary worlds, CAF intends to offer a ceremony worthy of the talents being honoured: an event where art, culture and football come together to celebrate the best of the continent.
