Benin: Twelve new admits to CAPA 2025 ready to join the bar
The Bar Association of Benin has published the final list of candidates eligible for the Certificate of Aptitude for the Profession of Lawyer (CAPA) examination, May-June 2025 session. After a rigorous process, twelve candidates have been declared successful.

SUMMARY
These twelve laureates, now qualified, are set to cross the next steps leading to their official integration into the Bar Association of Benin. After an initial selection of 130 candidates who underwent a year’s training, only nine were declared eligible after the written examinations. Three more names were added after claims were processed, bringing the total to twelve candidates.
The oral phase confirmed their admission. But becoming a lawyer doesn’t stop there. The future lawyers must now undergo a morality investigation, after having completed the necessary administrative formalities. They will then have to take the oath before the court and do a three-year professional internship in a law firm of their choice.
