Former deputy David Gbahoungba, CEO of Funaï, passed away this Thursday, February 29, 2024.

The deputy of the 8th Legislature, David Gbahoungba, is no more. Seriously ill and hospitalized for several months, his death was announced on the morning of Thursday, February 29, 2024 by Le Matinal. As a member of the country’s second political force, the Republican Bloc (Br), his passing leaves a huge void in the Beninese political landscape.

Beyond his political responsibilities, David Gbahoungba was also the CEO of the company Funaï. His dedication to both the political sphere and business made him a respected and influential figure in Benin.

His sudden passing on Thursday, February 29, 2024, has deeply shaken his political colleagues, business associates, as well as the entire Beninese community.
