Transfer market: Galatasaray sets the price for Victor Osimhen, courted by Barça
The Turkish club Galatasaray is believed to have set the release clause for Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen at €80 million, targeted by Barça to prepare for the post-Lewandowski.

Galatasaray does not intend to undersell Victor Osimhen. According to several Turkish media outlets, including Haberlisin, the Istanbul club would have set the release clause for his forward at €80 million, while Barça would be closely watching his situation. Recruited last summer for a record fee estimated at €75 million, the Nigerian international quickly established himself as one of the spearheads of the Süper Lig champions. With 15 goals and an assist in 21 matches across all competitions, he has also shone on the European stage with six goals in the Champions League.
At 27, the Super Eagles’ striker remains one of the most sought-after forwards on the market. In search of a successor to Robert Lewandowski, Barça would particularly value Osimhen’s powerful and explosive profile. It remains to be seen whether the Catalan club will be ready to meet Galatasaray’s financial demands to attract one of the most prolific centre-forwards of the moment.
