Inter Miami: Lionel Messi secures his 49th career trophy

Lionel Messi continues to make history. At 39 years old, the Argentine forward has added another line to his impressive record by winning the Cup of Champions with Inter Miami. The Florida club triumphed 2-0 against Cruz Azul in the final. Messi directly contributed to the victory by scoring one of his team’s two goals, while Casemiro also found the back of the net.

This new accolade brings Messi’s total number of trophies won during his professional career to 49. The Argentine has achieved success with each of the three European and American clubs he has played for: FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Inter Miami.
