Exports: 10 Moroccan agri-food companies on a trade mission to Cotonou
A delegation of about ten Moroccan companies from the agri-food sector is currently on a trade mission in Cotonou.

The trip, organized from October 21 to 24, 2025, aims to explore export opportunities and partnerships with Beninese stakeholders.
The initiative is part of efforts to strengthen South–South economic cooperation between the Kingdom of Morocco and Benin. It coincides with both countries’ desire to boost agricultural and agro-industrial exchanges to support local processing and regional integration.
On the mission’s agenda: business-to-business meetings between Moroccan producer-processors and Beninese importers, visits to local production facilities, and technical sessions on sanitary and logistical standards.
For Benin, this mission is an opportunity to promote its agricultural value chains, attract investment in packaging and processing, and diversify its commercial partnerships.
More broadly, this mission reflects the two states’ economic strategy, which views the agri-food sector as a key lever for job creation, increased exports, and the strengthening of regional value chains.
