Davido: “B4 B4” marks a 5th week at number 1 in Nigeria

Davido extends his reign at the top of the Nigerian music charts. “B4 B4”, his collaboration with Mayorkun and FOLA, holds the number one spot on the Official Nigeria Top 100, according to the chart published on 8 September 2026 by TurnTable Charts.

The track amassed 2.86 million on-demand streams during the period and an estimated radio reach of 77.6 million. It ranks number one both in streaming and radio components of the Nigerian chart.

With five weeks at the top, “B4 B4” matches “With You”, Davido’s personal record for the longest stay at number one on this chart. In 2026, only Asake and Wizkid have done better with “Jogodo”, which stayed nine weeks at number one.

The success also continues a familiar collaboration between Davido and Mayorkun. Upon reaching number one on 11 August, “B4 B4” became their second joint number one after “The Best” in 2020, while FOLA added another major hit to a year already marked by several chart-topping tracks.

A hit carried by “Oriadé”

“B4 B4” appears on “Oriadé”, Davido’s sixth studio album, released on 31 July 2026. Apple Music presents this 13-track project as the singer’s conscious return to his roots, featuring guests such as Black Sherif, Aya Nakamura, Leon Thomas, Llona, JAZZWRLD, and GL_Ceejay.

The track debuted directly at number one on the Official Nigeria Top 100 with 6.12 million on-demand streams and 46.5 million radio reach. Its momentum continued week after week despite competition from Ayra Starr, Rema, Seyi Vibez, and Asake.

The official video also maintains strong visibility. On 8 September, it was still among the trending music videos in Nigeria on YouTube, a month after its release on the DavidoVEVO channel, with over 7.7 million views recorded by the platform’s public trend tracking.
