Guinea is a country in West Africa bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west. It is renowned for the Mount Nimba Strict Nature Reserve, located in the southeast of the country. The reserve protects a wooded mountain range that is home to plants and animals of the region, including chimpanzees and viviparous toads. On the coast, the capital Conakry hosts the modern Grand Mosque and the National Museum, which contains regional artifacts.
