Benin: Registration opens in the CFPA for the 2026-2027 learning year.
Registration for the 2026-2027 training year is open at the public Vocational and Apprenticeship Training Centers in Benin. Candidates can submit their applications until Friday, September 25, 2026, at 5 PM, for a start date scheduled for September 28.

SUMMARY
The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises and Job Promotion, responsible for vocational training, announces the opening of registration from Monday, August 17, to Friday, September 25, 2026. The program is aimed particularly at youth, artisans, trainers, and parents of students.
Applications are received in the thirteen public Vocational and Apprenticeship Training Centers located in Abomey, Agoua, Agouagon, Athiémé, Covè, Djidja, Dogbo, Djougou, Kouandé, Nikki, Pahou, Sè, and Zè. The available trades are displayed at the centers and can also be viewed on the ministry’s website: https://pmepe.gouv.bj.
Training provides access to the Certificate of Qualification for Trades (CQM) or the Certificate of Professional Qualification (CQP), in accordance with the regulations applicable to vocational training.
Conditions for Accessing the CQM and CQP
To register for the CQM, the candidate must be at least 14 years old by December 31, 2026, and express a willingness to learn a trade to integrate into professional life.
Access to the CQP is intended for out-of-school youth. Candidates must hold a Primary Education Certificate (CEP), have at least the level of the fourth grade or that required by the chosen trade program, be at least 14 years old by December 31, 2026, and pass the selection test.
The registration file includes a form specifying the training, the chosen trade, and the desired center(s). This form can be obtained at the submission locations or downloaded for free from the ministry’s website.
The candidate must also provide a copy of their birth certificate or any equivalent document, as well as a receipt of 1,000 CFA francs corresponding to the study fees for the application. The fees can be paid at the submission locations or at the Public Treasury, into the account BJ6600100100000010160845, opened in the name of the Directorate of Technical Establishments.
The reception of applications will officially end on Friday, September 25, 2026, at 5 PM. The catalog of available training programs at each center can be consulted at the submission locations.
