Alerted by vigilant citizens, the police arrested an individual transporting a suspicious load on a pushcart. After inspection, officers discovered more than a hundred stolen funeral plaques that had been ripped off graves at the PK14 cemetery.

According to initial information, the suspect, already known to police, is said to have acted alone. He was immediately taken to the Godomey police station and placed in custody pending further legal proceedings. That same day, November 12, 2025, was marked by two other interventions by the Godomey police station. In the early hours of the morning, a man was arrested in Womey, caught in the act of stealing car parts from a garage.

In the evening, two criminals were caught after several burglaries in Calavi Zopa and Cocotomey. One of them, identified by the initials H.C., was arrested in possession of stolen phones, while his accomplice remains actively sought.
