The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries has officially served formal notice on two contract agents recruited through the competitive recruitment process for 225 public-sector contract agents.

In a press release broadcast over the radio, the agents concerned were ordered to report to the Department of Planning, Administration and Finance by March 24, 2025, failing which they would be declared to have resigned.

According to the Ministry, although these agents were duly selected and made available by letter N°092/MTFP/DC/SGM/DGFP/DRAE/STCD/SA dated February 13, 2025, they have not complied with the administrative requirements for taking up their duties.

The press release specifies that the absence of these agents on the indicated date will be considered as a renunciation of their position, resulting in their definitive exclusion from the recruitment process.

The two agents concerned are HOUEHANOU Gbèssiwèdé Rivaldo, programmer analyst, computer security option, and BOKO Antoine, rural development controller, food technology option

It remains to be seen whether the latter will comply with the Ministry’s injunction within the stipulated timeframe, at the risk of losing their status as contract agents of the State.
