According to police sources, the neighborhoods of Dénou, Akadjamey, Pahou-Centre, Houndjava, and Hêvié-Liclan were targeted by law enforcement. The operations led to the dismantling of several sales points of Indian hemp and psychotropic products, which were disguised as bars, shops, or private homes.

In all, fifteen people were arrested during these operations. The officers seized significant amounts of Indian hemp, Tramadol, Tapentadol, Royal, and King 225 tablets, as well as packaging material and a sum of 400,000 CFA francs in cash.

The arrested individuals were taken into custody. They will be presented to the Republic’s prosecutor in the coming days.

With this operation, the Pahou police station reaffirms its commitment to “strengthen public safety and sanitize risk areas,” a source close to the case said.
