The Court for the Suppression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism (CRIET) examined, on Monday, November 3, 2025, a case of abduction of a minor involving a young man who admitted the facts on the stand.

According to his own account, he was in a relationship with the victim, who was 16 years old. He says that it was she who asked him to pick her up after classes. She then allegedly spent five days at his place.
During the investigation, the defendant’s father said that his son, who he said had become uncontrollable, had not been living under his roof for some time.
The court also noted that the young man had allegedly moved the minor to a different neighborhood during that period.
After the various testimonies, the case was adjourned to February 2, 2026 for continuation of the proceedings.
