Such a move would see La Pulga reuniting with Cristiano Ronaldo in the same league, thus reigniting one of the greatest rivalries in modern football history. To remind, the Portuguese superstar recently re-signed with Al-Nassr, extending his Middle Eastern adventure until 2026.
Currently tied to Inter Miami until December 2025, Messi (38 years old) has not yet started formal discussions for a contract extension with the MLS franchise. This contractual uncertainty fuels speculation about a possible departure at the end of the next season.
