Suffering a left knee sprain, Kylian Mbappé will miss the showdown against Atletico Madrid next Thursday in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final, according to AS.
“Following today’s examinations on our player Kylian Mbappé by Real Madrid’s medical services, a left knee sprain has been diagnosed. Awaiting developments”, Real Madrid announced on December 31 about the health status of its striker. Despite this big blow, the French striker hoped to return to the pitch as soon as possible in order to participate in the Spanish Super Cup to be held in Saudi Arabia.
Unfortunately for the Frenchman, he will miss his side’s first big test against Atletico Madrid next Thursday.
