Real Madrid: José Mourinho faced with the Mbappé-Vinicius-Bellingham puzzle
Back on the bench at Real Madrid, José Mourinho will need to quickly solve one of the main tactical puzzles of his new tenure: pairing Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Junior, and Jude Bellingham. The Portuguese believes that the three stars can play together.

SUMMARY
José Mourinho has not hidden the difficulty that awaits him. On the eve of Real Madrid’s trip to Espanyol’s pitch on Saturday, the Portuguese coach was asked how to align his three main attacking weapons simultaneously. “They are incredible players, but the tactical structure could be more complex,” Mourinho admitted to reporters.
The Portuguese believes that each of the three players has already benefited from a role perfectly suited to their qualities in the national team. Vinicius Junior has notably found his balance with Brazil, while Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham have also played in setups that allow them to showcase their full potential.
Finding Balance
For Mourinho, the challenge now is to bring these three profiles together without upsetting his team’s balance. “It’s more difficult to find the ideal role for each of the three,” he explained. However, the Madrid coach remains optimistic and refuses to consider his stars as incompatible. “I’m convinced that we will achieve good results when we all play together. I don’t think they’re incompatible at all,” he assured.
The trip to Espanyol could thus provide the first indications of the Portuguese’s tactical choices as he aims to put an end to FC Barcelona’s domination in La Liga.
