Porto-Novo: an exceptional fire is ravaging the Beau-Rivage crossroads area.

A fire broke out simultaneously at three distinct points near the Beau-Rivage intersection, putting the area and part of the Avakpa neighborhood directly in the path of the flames.

The simultaneity of the outbreaks facilitated the rapid spread of the blaze before the rescue teams were able to intervene to contain the flames and secure the perimeter.

As of now, the exact causes of the outbreak of this fire remain unknown, and no official assessment, either in terms of human or material loss, has yet been communicated by the authorities.
