In a statement released this Wednesday, the institution warns against fraudulent messages circulating online that claim to offer positions for electoral agents and assistants through an unauthorized website.

According to CENA, no recruitment campaign is currently underway, and announcements shared via platforms such as active-hub.github.io do not originate from its services. The institution therefore urges the public to be vigilant and not to follow the links contained in those messages, which could be used for malicious purposes.

The Commission reminds citizens that all official information about its activities is published exclusively on its recognized channels. For any verification or to report something, the public can contact it by email at [email protected], by phone at +229 01 21 318 985, or via its official Facebook page Commission Électorale Nationale Autonome / CENA.

Reaffirming its commitment to free, credible, and peaceful elections, CENA urges citizens to rely solely on its official communications to avoid any attempt at fraud or manipulation.
