Demi Moore to receive the Giving Tree Award for her commitment to children

At 63 years old, Demi Moore will receive the Giving Tree Award on November 14 in Los Angeles. Baby2Baby will honor the actress for several decades of dedication to vulnerable children and for using her fame to support social causes.

The announcement was made on Tuesday, September 22, by the organization in a statement to People. Baby2Baby co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein praised a figure who understands the impact of an unstable childhood and has long advocated for children lacking essential products.

Awarded annually, the Giving Tree Award recognizes a well-known woman whose efforts improve the lives of children in precarious situations. Demi Moore will succeed champion Serena Williams, who was honored in 2025.

The actress joins a list that also includes Charlize Theron, Salma Hayek, Kim Kardashian, Chrissy Teigen, Vanessa Bryant, Kerry Washington, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, and Drew Barrymore.

The annual gala serves as Baby2Baby’s main fundraising event. The organization claims to support 1.5 million children each year with diapers, formula, and clothing. Its 2025 edition raised $18 million, and the organization states it has distributed 850 million essential products over the past fifteen years.
