Benin: New Board of Directors Installed at the Port of Cotonou
The Autonomous Port of Cotonou has a new Board of Directors. Head of State Patrice Talon appointed seven members by decree on 5 November 2025.

Their mission will be to guide and validate strategic decisions aimed at strengthening the port’s development. Their term is three years, renewable from the time they take office.
The new team brings together representatives from the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of the Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Living Environment and Transport, the Ministry of Development and Coordination of Government Action, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Benin, the Directorate of Port, Maritime and Fluvio-Lagunar Affairs, and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations.
It is composed of Sédjro James Allabi, Charles Inoussa Sacca Boco, Djamal Jean Gbian Tabé, Sena Alastaire Alinsato, Kossi Casimir Migan, Jessugnon Germain Ahissou and Maryse Lokossou.
This configuration marks a new phase for the Autonomous Port of Cotonou, engaged in a process of modernization and increased performance.
