Matchday 10 delivered its share of confirmations and twists this weekend, with SOBEMAP a solid leader, Coton FC struggling and Loto-Popo held back by a postponement. Subject to ratification of the results, the league hierarchy is starting to take shape as the season approaches the one-third mark.
The long-awaited clash between Espoir and Loto-Popo never took place, the match having been postponed. Meanwhile, Ayema and the Cavaliers canceled each other out in a closed duel (0-0), while Bani Gansè confirmed their return to form by beating JS Pobè (2-0).
In the other fixtures, Dynamo d’Abomey won by the smallest margin against ASVO (1-0), plunging their opponent further into the relegation zone. The day’s best result goes to SOBEMAP: conquerors of Coton FC (1-0), the port club seized the top of the table.
AS Cotonou and Damissa finished level in a goalless draw (0-0), while the Dragons were stunned at home by Hodio, who won 2-1 after an eventful match.
