Five individuals were appointed to sit on the Board of Directors for a three-year term renewable once.

This body will be tasked with overseeing the strategic management and development of the country’s airport infrastructure.

Created as a public limited company, SAB is responsible for the management, operation, and development of Benin’s airports, notably the Cardinal Bernardin Gantin International Airport of Cotonou.

It is also involved in the construction and development of airport facilities throughout the country.

Composition of the new Board of Directors

The team of five individuals appointed to sit on the board of directors is as follows:

  1. Élie Hans Messan Nappron, representative of the Ministry of Living Environment
  2. Joseph Ahissou, representative of the Ministry of Living Environment
  3. Yémalin Philibert Adankon, representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance
  4. Decandji Agbahoundo Karl Legba, representative of the National Civil Aviation Agency
  5. Cyrielle Ahouandogbo Perrot, representative of the Presidency of the Republic

This new team is expected to strengthen governance and continue the reforms undertaken to modernize Benin’s airport infrastructure, with a view to providing more efficient and competitive service
