SUMMARY
The Beninese Football Federation (FBF) received on Friday a brand-new 53-seat bus, donated by sports betting operator 1XBet, during an official ceremony held at Canal Olympia in Cotonou. In front of government representatives, the sporting community and numerous guests, the Managing Director of 1XBet Benin recalled the significance of the initiative:
“It’s a moment that’s both symbolic and full of promise. This bus is not just a means of transportation, but an expression of our commitment to Beninese football,” said the Managing Director of 1XBet Benin. She emphasized the company’s desire to support the national teams, the Cheetahs as well as the Amazons, sustainably, by strengthening the working conditions and the infrastructure made available to them. For her, sport is “a school of discipline, courage and unity“, and a powerful lever of social cohesion.

Support aligned with a national strategy
1XBet says it places this action within a broader vision: promoting local sport, supporting national institutions and contributing to Benin’s socio-economic development. The Managing Director also addressed a message to the players, absent at the ceremony: “You are ambassadors of the country. Carry this bus as a symbol of unity, motivation and excellence. Wherever you go, the people of Benin are by your side.”
The president of the FBF, Mathurin de Chacus, expressed his satisfaction, emphasizing that this new bus strengthens efforts to modernize infrastructure and facilitate the national teams’ travel. He called on other partners to join this momentum.

Among the guests, former Cheetahs captain Stéphane Sessègnon welcomed “a motivating gesture” for the players, while several speakers stressed the positive impact of such initiatives on the visibility and development of Beninese football.
