U.S. President Donald Trump and FIFA chief Gianni Infantino unveiled a new measure called the “FIFA Pass”, intended to make it easier for fans seeking to attend the 2026 World Cup to obtain visas.

This system, put in place to streamline administrative procedures in the United States, will allow ticket holders to benefit from priority access to visa appointment slots, without changing existing screening procedures. The review process will remain the same, but waiting times should be significantly reduced.

Having a match ticket does not automatically guarantee entry into the United States, but it does provide faster processing of the application. Donald Trump and Gianni Infantino nevertheless urge fans to start their procedures as early as possible to avoid any delays as the tournament approaches.
