Friendly: Argentina cruises comfortably in Angola, Messi scores
With a goal and an assist from Lionel Messi, Argentina easily beat Angola (2-0) this Friday in a friendly in Luanda.

Argentina faced Angola this Friday in Luanda as part of FIFA’s November international window. And the Albiceleste won 2-0. Propelled by a once-again decisive Lionel Messi, the Selección upheld their status despite a more labored second half.
Dominant from the start, the world champions waited until the end of the first half to convert their control. In the 43rd minute, Lautaro Martínez opened the scoring by finishing a move perfectly started by Messi, precise in his role as creator. A logical advantage for an Albiceleste technically superior.
The second half was less lively, disrupted notably by the injuries that forced Thiago Almada and Alexis Mac Allister off, which cooled the match’s intensity. It wasn’t until the final minutes that the Argentine captain sealed the result: Messi, opportunistic, doubled the lead with a clinical finish in the 85th minute.
This victory caps off a strong year for Argentina, who now turn their attention to their next big meeting: the Finalissima against Spain next March.
