Donald Trump: “China has agreed not to supply weapons to Iran”
Against a backdrop of heightened tensions in the Middle East, Donald Trump says that China has agreed not to supply weapons to Iran, while alluding to a cooperation aimed at preventing an escalation.

The U.S. president Donald Trump has claimed that China had pledged not to provide weapons to Iran, against the backdrop of persistent tensions in the Middle East, as part of what he called the “Operation Epic Fury.” In a post on his social media, the White House occupant hinted that some form of coordination existed between Washington and Beijing to prevent another escalation in the region.
“They have agreed not to send weapons to Iran. President Xi Jinping will give me a warm embrace when I arrive in a few weeks. We are working together intelligently and very well! Isn’t that better than war??? BUT REMEMBER, we are very good at fighting, if we have to do it – far better than anyone!!!”, wrote Trump.
These statements come amid a climate of high tensions involving Iran, the United States and Israel, reviving concerns about a potential regional flare-up.
