Cristiano Ronaldo is getting into MMA
At 40, Cristiano Ronaldo is still expanding his empire by becoming one of the major investors in the Spanish MMA organization WOW FC, confirming his ambition to carry as much weight in business as on the field.

While he keeps delivering top-level performances at 40, Cristiano Ronaldo is extending his influence even further off the pitch. The Portuguese forward has decided to move into the world of mixed martial arts by taking a stake in WOW FC, a fast-growing Spanish league specializing in MMA, Iberian press reports.
This organization, presented as the Spanish equivalent of the major international promotions, is already attracting key figures in the scene, including fighter Ilia Topuria, who is also involved in the project. CR7 thus joins a group of investors aiming to make WOW FC a leading European organization.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, known for his strong preference for physical and mental rigor, sees in this discipline a natural extension of his values. He praised a sport founded on discipline, respect, resilience and the pursuit of excellence—principles he has upheld since the start of his career. The aim of this investment is clear: to contribute to the development of MMA in Spain and encourage younger generations to get involved.
