Chelsea: Cole Palmer returns for the clash against Arsenal
Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca confirmed that young English attacking midfielder Cole Palmer is fit to start on Sunday for the London derby against Arsenal, after more than two months out.

Chelsea coach Enzo Maresca said Cole Palmer is fit to start the match against Arsenal on Sunday. Absent for more than two months, the England youth international had been forced to miss several fixtures, notably against Barcelona and Arsenal, due to a fractured toe. Now recovered, the 23-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to return for the London derby.
“He is available, whether to start or to come on during the match”, Maresca confirmed. “We have no other concerns. Dario Essugo also took part in training this morning, which is good news.”
If the Blues have won 10 of their 13 matches played without Palmer, their recent defeats to Brighton and Sunderland have left them six points behind leaders Arsenal ahead of this weekend’s big fixture.
