April 2026 FIFA window: the Amazones squad for matches against Tunisia and the Comoros.

With the April women’s international window, Benin’s national team is getting back into action with two friendly matches on the program against Tunisia and the Comoros. For this gathering held in Tunisia, the coaching staff has called up a squad of 25 players, mixing youth and experience. It’s a deliberate strategy that aims to prepare for the future while staying competitive in the short term. Several players from the U20 category are thus making an appearance, in view of the final round of the U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers scheduled for May against Côte d’Ivoire.

Alongside these young talents, the seasoned internationals who are regulars on the national team bring their international experience, ensuring a certain balance within the squad. It should be noted, however, the notable absences of Noélie Abamon, Aude Gbedjissi and Léa Fachinan, not selected for this double header. The Amazons’ schedule looks challenging, as they will first face Tunisia on April 12, before taking on the Comoros two days later. Both matches will take place at the El Kram Stadium in Tunis.
