2025 U-17 Women’s World Cup: four nations already qualified for the quarterfinals
Italy, Brazil, the Netherlands and North Korea secured their spots in the U-17 Women’s World Cup quarter-finals on Tuesday after a day marked by convincing wins and nail‑biting suspense.
The first berths for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, currently being held in Morocco, are now known. Four nations confirmed their qualification following Tuesday’s matches.

Italy thoroughly dominated Nigeria (4-0), while Brazil won comfortably against China (3-0). Meanwhile, North Korea outclassed host nation Morocco by a resounding 6-1. Finally, the Netherlands clinched their qualification after a tight duel with the United States, decided on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
The remaining round-of-16 matches are scheduled for Wednesday and will complete the bracket for the next stage. The tournament, which kicked off on October 17, will continue until November 8, 2025, the date of the grand final on Moroccan soil.
