The list of the 48 qualified nations for the FIFA World Cup 2026 is now complete. This outcome follows the European and intercontinental play-offs held on Tuesday and Wednesday, which delivered their verdict. The six final teams to secure their tickets are the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iraq, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Turkey, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
These selections complete the line-up of the 42 other nations already qualified for this expanded World Cup. In the wake of this, FIFA has also officially announced the composition of the 12 groups of the tournament, marking another step in the countdown to this global event.
