Bohicon: 2 drug traffickers arrested with 130 kg of drugs hidden in corn
Officers from the 1st arrondissement police station in Bohicon arrested two motorcyclists at dawn on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at the Dako intersection. The suspects were carrying a large quantity of Indian hemp hidden in sacks of maize.

According to initial findings, the two men, riding Haojue and TVS motorcycles, were transporting the merchandise from Azovè, in the Couffo department. A search of the sacks revealed six batches containing 237 blocks of Indian hemp, with a total weight of 130 kilograms.
During their questioning, the suspects acknowledged the origin of the product. They were then handed over to the Central Office for the Suppression of Illicit Drug and Precursor Trafficking (OCERTID) for further investigation and legal proceedings.
This arrest is part of the regular anti-narcotics operations carried out in the Zou region.
