No new date for resuming the proceedings has been announced yet. This suspension comes amid tense debates over the constitutional revision project, which has drawn the attention and concern of several political actors and citizens.
As a reminder, the constitutional revision bill was introduced in parliament by the presidents of the UP le Renouveau and Bloc Républicain parliamentary groups, deputies Aké Natondé and Assan Séïbou.
