“She’s really…”, Marc Lavoine’s tender declaration of love for Adriana Karembeu
A few days before the broadcast of his Concert pop symphonique at La Seine Musicale on France 4, singer Marc Lavoine admitted he is head over heels in love with Adriana Karembeu.
At 61, Marc Lavoine seems to have rediscovered his zest for life thanks to Adriana Karembeu. In an exclusive interview with Télé-Loisirs, the singer spoke emotionally about his relationship with the former Slovak model, made official in September 2024. “An absolutely incredible thing happened to me. I met Adriana, whom I had seen on television saying, ‘I’m in love with this guy!’ and I believed it,” he says in the pages of Télé-Loisirs.
According to the performer of J’ai tout oublié, this meeting marked a turning point in his life. “She was the first woman to declare such a feeling to me with no ulterior motive. Her blue eyes, blue like my mother’s, really reassured me and swept me away. I drowned inside and I admit I’m swimming in absolute happiness,” he confides.
A year after the start of their relationship, Marc Lavoine no longer hides his admiration for Adriana Karembeu. “She has the face of happiness. I think she gives me the possibility to be myself. She doesn’t do it on purpose, it’s just her. She is truly wonderful,” he says. The artist, who once thought about leaving France, admits this meeting upended his plans. “She made the colours of life change, the sounds changed. I can’t tell you why. She made me feel possible when I was a bit useless,” the artist confessed.
Their story, born of chance and sincerity, seems straight out of a romantic script. It was on the show 50’ Inside that Adriana Karembeu publicly declared her feelings, in May 2024. “I’m in love with this guy, by the way. He doesn’t know, shh!” she had said. At the time, she spoke of her admiration for the singer. And clearly, this confession did not leave Marc Lavoine indifferent.
Two months later, invited in turn on the show, the artist answered in kind. “Listen, life sometimes brings you satisfactions. This is one of them,” he replied with a knowing smile. Bit by bit, their paths crossed, giving rise to a romance that the two lovers now fully embrace. “Thanks 50’ Inside, thanks to you I met the woman of my life and I’m delighted,” Marc Lavoine even told the camera in July 2025.
