Bayern : Harry Kane keeps the door open to a move to Barça
Bayern Munich’s English striker, Harry Kane, is reportedly considering a move to FC Barcelona at the end of the season, despite being under contract until 2027.

Harry Kane’s future could be written far from Bavaria. According to the daily Sport, the Bayern Munich forward does not rule out a transfer to FC Barcelona at the end of the season. After an impressive start to the campaign — 17 goals in all competitions under Vincent Kompany — the England captain nevertheless remains at the centre of transfer rumours. Tied to Bayern until 2027, Kane has a release clause estimated at £57 million, which will become active in the summer of 2026.
Now 32, the former Tottenham player is said to be seriously considering a new challenge. Barcelona, looking for a high-profile striker to reinvigorate its attacking project, is among the interested clubs. The Blaugrana would be able to match the player’s current wages, but would have to contend with several Premier League sides ready to offer him more lucrative deals. Kane, for his part, wants to stay focused on his season with Bayern before deciding on his future. “He will make his decision at the end of the season,” notes Sport.
Arriving in Germany in the summer of 2023, the England international quickly won over the Allianz Arena crowd with his efficiency and eye for goal. It remains to be seen whether the Catalan challenge, backed by Barça’s prestige and the promise of one last major European project, will convince the serial goalscorer to take his career to the next level.
