A truck loaded with cement catches fire in Tchatchou: more fear than harm

A spectacular fire broke out in Tchatchou on Wednesday night, involving a truck transporting cement from Cotonou to Parakou.

The exact circumstances of the fire are still unknown, but thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire department, the worst was avoided.

Alerted by witnesses, the fire brigade immediately arrived on the scene. Thanks to their efficiency, the flames were contained in time, preventing the fire from spreading and limiting material losses. Fortunately, there were no casualties. At the same time, the Republican Police quickly secured the perimeter and restored traffic flow, which had been temporarily disrupted by the incident.
