On Monday night, during the duel between the Golden State Warriors and the Denver Nuggets, Stephen Curry added another line to his impressive record by becoming the 29ᵉ best passer in NBA history, surpassing Tiny Archibald.

The 37-year-old Warriors point guard scored 13 points, grabbed two rebounds and dished out four assists in 23 minutes of play. Despite a lacklustre address (5/16 on shots), he confirmed his impact beyond his talent as a shooter. “Stephen Curry has surpassed Tiny Archibald to 29ᵉ place on the NBA’s all-time assists list ,” announced the Warriors on X.

Despite Curry’s performance, the Warriors lost 114-105 to the Nuggets at Chase Center. Denver, buoyed by a solid collective performance, thus consolidates third place in the NBA standings with a record of 43 wins to 25 losses. Golden State, meanwhile, remains in sixth place with 39 wins and 28 losses.

With averages of 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.1 steals this season, Curry continues to prove that he remains a key player in the league. While he is best known for his legendary three-point shooting, this latest accolade is a reminder that he is also one of the NBA’s best playmakers.
