The Kardashian family is currently shaken by a tragic event. And the one experiencing the shock most profoundly is Kris Jenner, their 68-year-old mother. Indeed, she has just lost her only sister Karen Houghton, at the age of 65.
The news was made public by Kris Jenner, who paid tribute to her through a lengthy message on her Instagram account, accompanied by nostalgic photographs. “It is with the heaviest heart and the deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away unexpectedly yesterday. My heart aches for my mother MJ and my niece Natalie, and I pray for God to guide us through this extremely difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out. She was the sweetest, kindest, most sensitive, vulnerable, and so funny. She always felt grateful and thankful for her life and cherished her family, her friends, and above all her beautiful daughter. She holds such a big part of my heart, and I cherish every memory we shared together. Karen’s passing reminds us that life is so short and precious, and that tomorrow is never promised. We must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you, my beautiful sister,” she wrote.
As of now, the causes of her death, as well as the date of her funeral, have not yet been revealed.
