The legendary footballer Didier Drogba will be visiting France on Wednesday, March 20, for the official draw of the football events at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The former Ivory Coast captain has been invited to participate in this official ceremony, which will be held in Saint-Denis at the Paris 2024 headquarters.

For this special occasion, Drogba will not be alone. The Olympian and former 2004 Argentine football gold medalist, Javier Saviola, and the French double Olympic gold medalist in athletics, Marie-José Pérec, will also be present. They will have the important duty of conducting the draw that will determine the group compositions for both the men’s and women’s football tournaments.

The event is also set to feature notable football celebrities such as Arsène Wenger and Olivier Darcourt, underscoring the ceremony’s significance in the sports community.

The Paris 2024 Games, scheduled from July 26 to August 11, will showcase the football events from July 24 to August 10, promising to excite football fans and enthusiasts from around the globe.
